Policy on Digital Millennium Copyright Act

Section 512(f) of Title 17 USC outlines penalties for knowingly providing false information in an infringement notice.

It should be noted that we may disclose the identity of the complainant in a copyright infringement claim to the alleged infringer.

Counter Notification

If material has been removed due to a copyright claim, a counter notification may be sent to request restoration. The notification must contain:

  1. Your signature;
  2. Description of the removed material and its original location;
  3. A statement asserting good faith belief of mistake or misidentification;
  4. Your contact information and consent to jurisdiction.
